OnePlus 16 may not launch in India

According to a new rumor from a tipster on X, OnePlus may not be launching the upcoming OnePlus 16 in India. Instead, the OnePlus 16R will be the brand's next flagship in the country. It will be followed by new Nord series and N series devices. In recent years, OnePlus has launched a new flagship number-series device as well as an R-series model, which uses a lesser chipset and comes with lesser cameras and a big battery. Now, if this rumor pans out, it means India will miss out on a OnePlus device powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chipset, and will have to make do with the...

Fairphone launched its first pair of true wireless earbuds, aptly called the Fairbuds, in April of 2024. Now the company is almost ready to introduce the second generation - in fact, the Fairbuds 2 are coming in the fourth quarter of this year (between October and December). Today a new leak brings us a look at the new earbuds in green and black. Fairbuds 2 leaked images As you can see, the Fairbuds 2 have stems, while the originals didn't. Their case is also thicker than the original one, which makes us wonder whether Fairphone has managed to fit a larger battery inside than...

The iPhone Duo does not solve foldables' biggest problems

After leaking more than a communal tap, the iPhone Duo — Apple’s first foldable — is finally a reality. We are used to foldables around here, but for Apple, this is the first and only major new iPhone form factor in 19 years since the original iPhone. Needless to say, that’s a pretty big deal. But as stated before, foldables are not new to us. By now, the original Galaxy Fold units have completed seven trips around the Sun, and we have seen countless models from every other major manufacturer since then. Some have come and gone in such a blink of an eye that many people won’t even...

Apple iPhone Duo vs. iPhone 18 Pro (Max): Which one to get?

Apple’s relatively stable smartphone line-up made it easy for people to figure out their upgrade path. The company would occasionally throw in a curveball like the iPhone Air or the iPhone 17e, but for the most part, people didn’t spend much time wondering which model to pick. Vanilla users got the new vanilla iPhone, Pro users got the new Pro. But now the iPhone Duo has arrived, Apple’s first foldable. Obviously, Android foldables have been around for a while now, so this isn’t a completely unprecedented experience. Still, for Apple die-hards this could be their first...

The Trump phone just got 50% more expensive

The Trump Mobile T1 Phone, announced with much fanfare (how else) last year, finally became available this June for $499. And if you wanted one, hopefully you were able to get it at that price. Now you can't. That's because the device has quietly received a sharp price increase up to a whopping $749. That's 50% more than it used to be, and considering the fact that this is just an HTC from 2024 with a gold paint job and Trump logo on it, well, let's just say you really need to be a huge Trump fan to justify the new price. There are many better-specced phones out there for the same...
